Flying Catwalk Köln Arcaden

go back

A fashion show is the perfect way to reopen the Köln Arcaden that houses a large number of fashion brands, including Monkey, Superdry, Calzedonia, Colloseum and s'Oliver. As is the case in many shopping centres, the square metres have been let out to the full and there's scarcely any free space available for events. As such, SESSIBON comes up with a very creative solution to create space. A 20-metre floating catwalk, 10 metres above the ground.

Visitors can closely follow the models from all shop windows. Creating a catwalk that floats above the escalator requires extensive measurements, inspections, nightly construction and improvisation regarding routing. A fine case for the SESSIBON team, because there's a solution to be found for every challenge.

For optimal visibility, the show is also streamed live to screens put up throughout the entire shopping centre. The flying catwalk is a unique experience that literally utilises more than every square metre for fashion.

This target-oriented marketing concept goes beyond a unique and energetic fashion show. The audience is treated to a complete programme. With a beauty bar, a candy bar, a kids' show, style advice, a chance of winning nice prizes and the presence of prominent people such as Thomas Rath and Ana Johnson, we offer plenty to make anyone enthusiastic.
